Why do we love this case?

This pack of Provençal pinks flaunt the fruit and freshness of the 2019 vintage. With relatively dry and warm summers, you can generally expect good quality, balanced rosé from this sought-after region. Renowned wine critic Robert Parker exclaimed that “The 2019 rosés shine all the brighter… The best of the bunch manage to combine concentration and complexity with refinement and refreshment”. So, why not find out for yourself what Provence rosé has to offer!

Each pack contains ONE bottle of each of the following six sumptuous stunners:

Henri Fabre Rosé 2019

French Import
Mofo Fave

This is serious, high-brow rosé for people who want more than just empty pleasures and simple distraction. Fresh raspberry and raspberry leaf, a touch of guava and florals on the nose. The palate’s spicy and textured, fruit playing harmony rather than melody. This wine is a winner with so many dishes or simply sipped alone.

Mofo Fav

Among the great many estates producing decent rosé in Provence, there is an elite group of 18 Cru Classé makers that constitute the cream of the crop. These are the best of the best, where Provence hangs its hat. This one, made of a classic blend of cinsault, grenache and syrah, is equal parts undemanding and interesting. It’s delicately charming, with gentle aromas of tropical fruits, sage and mountainous Mediterranean minerality, finishing with a dash of grenadine sweetness and an orange pith twist. It’s the perfect pairing for anything involving sunshine.

Château de la Deidiere Rosé 2019
Cranberry
Creamy
Strawberry
Light-bodied
Bright
Elegant

This rosé is soft, plush and soothing. There’s more than a hint of raspberry in the mix, alongside strawberries and cranberries with a good dollop of cream on top. It smells like warm summer air, though the palate’s coolly refreshing. Featuring a touch less spice than some of the others, this is a prime candidate to drink alone, with just good conversation to accompany.

Château Saint Honoré Rosé 2019
Allspice
Minerally
Strawberry
Light-bodied
Bitter
Delicate

This is pretty bold for a Provence rosé. Strawberry, cherry and lemon blossom, with structural acidity plus more fruit and texture than the usual suspects. It also has distinct minerality that must surely come from the vineyards being closer to the seaside, with more schist-type soils (shelly fossils and the like, you know). All that power and distinction, but it still manages to be one of the prettiest things this side of... well, the solar system I guess.

Cuvee Serpolet Rosé 2019
Allspice
Minerally
Strawberry
Light-bodied
Bright
Delicate

This is a light-footed, polished and fruit-forward style of Provence rosé. Strawberries and cream, raspberry jubes, orange zest. Light and refreshing with a savoury elegance. And shaped a bit like a barbell, so you could get some squats in while you’re hard at it.

Chateau de L'Aumerade Style Rosé 2019
Floral
Melon
Peach
Light-bodied
Bright
Delicate

This one’s bright as a star. It’s citrussy, and reminds me more than a touch of Orangina, though obviously without the bubbles. There’s a hint of pepperiness on the finish, and a cranberry tang next to luscious ripe strawberries. Light, easy, and devilishly quaffable. C’est si bon!
